Getting [de]layed

When I started out two years ago, I was sure: work a little bit today, another bit tomorrow, and in two years, something huge will add up. And whatever you do, don’t leave all the work to the last minute.

The thing I’m talking about is the friggin project involved with my master degree, which is due in about two weeks. And, -did I do as planned? Nope. So right now I’m caught in schoolwork -YUCK.

This is gonna delay the launch of the FABULOUS WEBCOMIC that’s cooking here, and the characters are getting pretty damn annoyed too, with this delay. And who could blame Fredo and Pid’Jin?

Way to go, kiddo, just carry on the family tradition (started by me :-p) to work on every assignment until the the very last damned minute (and to start it as soon as you had planed to have it done)!

If it is not delayed it cannot be great art!

Only great art suffers the turmoil of brain wracking pain, the lifting up and down of the pencil, pallette or keyboard in anticipation, frustration or regret, the smashing of the pumpkins in the background or the stomping of the grapes – or at least the drinking of the grapes juices, while the art ferments inside, eh?

And the angst of the art is itself funny to the weary reader, sympthetic to the familiarity of your plight like me, or hostile and mocking like a rabid candidate before an election.
