A Modern Classic

Tired of fast food, TV and Holywood flicks, Fredo and Pid'jin time-travel to the XVIIIth century

Ahhh, time to enjoy an evening with these classy people. - Hey! Boy! Play that violin for us.

But I am Antonio Vivaldi, famous creator of the four seasons! - So you invented a pizza. Big deal.

Forgive my ignorant friend, sir. So tell, me: what is your sitcom about?

  2. stash @ March 31, 2008 at 1:26 am

So…you are what you are, right? Must be a good sitcom if it ran for four seasons. I guess!

  3. theTudor @ March 31, 2008 at 1:36 am

Oh yea pretty good, i saw this kid on youtube playing “Summer” on the electric guitar.

  4. Mihai @ March 31, 2008 at 9:45 am

what is vivaldi doing in a tavern?? looking for inspiration?

  5. theTudor @ March 31, 2008 at 11:34 am

@Mihai: I always ask Eugen to draw lush decors, like a high society salon, impressive decors or at least an outside party in a park that is usually in front of a noble man country houses (with the splendid architecture of the country house in the background).

Oh and of course crowds of people engaged in countless activities, all with costumes and all.

But for some obscure reason he does not want to, yet he prefers to draw wooden tables and clay mugs…go figure :P

  6. Mihai @ March 31, 2008 at 11:43 am

    bwhahahahah

  7. jolie @ March 31, 2008 at 11:49 am

    genius.

  8. Eugen Erhan @ March 31, 2008 at 11:51 am

hey what’s more likely: a) vivaldi hanging out in a tavern or b) me working hard to draw complicated backgrounds?

    bwahhhaa laziness rulz :P

  9. ruchi @ March 31, 2008 at 11:56 am

dude, that sexy virgin sure has an alcohol problem!

  10. theTudor @ March 31, 2008 at 12:07 pm

Next episode will be in Zion City – the Matrix.
    -
For frame 2 Eugen will show us a snapshot aerial view of the last battle from LOTR – part 3.
    -
And it will all end in frame three with an slow motion like capture of an locomotive engine exploding. While Fredo is holding an extremely detailed Lego manual in his hand (visible for the camera but taking only 15% of screen).
    -
    Notes:

    * the last frame is performed in the “big-room-of-many-many-parallel-mirrors” and partially viewed trough a scotch glass Pidjin is holding up.

**Also there is additional distortion from the two ice cubes in the scotch glass.

  11. Eugen Erhan @ March 31, 2008 at 12:12 pm

ha! just 3 frames? you must be gettin old.

  12. Mihai @ March 31, 2008 at 12:38 pm

i say you just draw a sex scene. i vote for pidjin but i’m afraid i’ll be outnumbered!

  13. ruchi @ March 31, 2008 at 1:21 pm

the only sex scene worthy of our virgin world-ender would be one with pidjin and agent mulder.
for those who have given up the fight with hormones, i suppose that a mind-blowing kiss would be less stressful to the imagination

  14. Na'rmer @ March 31, 2008 at 1:39 pm

This is one of Pid’jin’s best appearances.

    Good one! ^.^

  15. A.Faith @ March 31, 2008 at 11:04 pm

  17. saliery @ April 1, 2008 at 10:03 am

I think you can make an appearance on a cruciade or a medieval war, don’t you think?

  18. theTudor @ April 1, 2008 at 10:49 am

@Clara: Eugen is the artist, I’m just the writer.

  19. theTudor @ April 1, 2008 at 10:52 am

@saliery: I would totally love a setting like that.

Maybe something will come up. Crusade or medieval stuff is real bad-ass :)

  20. Eugen Erhan @ April 1, 2008 at 11:05 am

[crying in pain] Crusades? Please, for the love of Jesus, stoooop! Ok, maybe after the new tablet arrives…
